It is mainly used as supporting power for agricultural and forestry plant protection machinery, small agricultural machinery, garden machinery, generator sets, construction machinery, and outboard machinery. Because the small gasoline engine is small in size, light in weight, cheap in price and convenient to use, it occupies an important position in various machine tools. Especially in the piggyback machine, the universal small gasoline engine is the only supporting power.
General-purpose small gasoline engines are generally single-cylinder machines, and a few are two-cylinder or four-cylinder machines. At present, there are 39 varieties of general-purpose small gasoline engines in China. Among them, there are 23 two-stroke gasoline engines, most of which are single-cylinder and forced air-cooled. The displacement is 0.021L~0.36L, the cylinder diameter is 32mm~81mm, the power is 0.63kW~22kW, the speed is 3000r/min~7500r/min; the four-stroke gasoline engine has a total of 16 varieties, divided into single cylinder, double cylinder, four cylinder; single cylinder displacement 0.136L~0.531L, cylinder diameter 60.3mm~90.5mm, power 1.6kW~31kW, speed 1500r/min~4000r/min.
Small gasoline engines are widely used in motorized spray dusters, chain saws, generators, pumps, lawn mowers.
